Vaccines are designed to stimulate immunity. Some provide permanent protection, some require boosters, some ameliorate disease. It was hoped that the COVID vaccines would provide sterilizing immunity but that could not be guaranteed as this is a novel virus that mutates quickly and science is still working to make the vaccines better. What these vaccines do, very effectively, is prevent serious disease and the spread thereof. The vaccines along with improved treatments have taken this pandemic to endemic levels in a short period of time. That is a huge win for all of us.

Hope they haven’t been using acetaminophen, albuterol, aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Tums, Lipitor, Senokot, Motrin, Maalox, Ex-Lax, Benadryl, Sudafed, Preparation H, Claritin, Prilosec, and Zoloft. This is a quote from a USAFA graduate who is trying to help these Cadets.
"These are evangelical Christian cadets, who are pro-life, and they object to the fact that the vaccines were tested on aborted fetal stem cell lines. Because of their objection to abortion, their conscience will not let them … inject this particular drug into their own bodies."
I can not count the times I've heard "my body, my choice" in the last few weeks. I guess that saying only works for killing an unborn baby; it doesn't work for injecting a vaccine in the body of a healthy young adult that statistically speaking, is more likely to die from a drug overdose than COVID-19.
I understand that when you sign up for the military you give up many rights other civilians enjoy........religious freedoms should not be one of the rights you give up.
BTW, I am vaccinated. It was my CHOICE!
I'm not sure if they use those medications or not, but I'm pretty sure the U.S. Government doesn't force them to take those medications.Hope they haven’t been using acetaminophen, albuterol, aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Tums, Lipitor, Senokot, Motrin, Maalox, Ex-Lax, Benadryl, Sudafed, Preparation H, Claritin, Prilosec, and Zoloft.
My question is, have they also requested and received religious exemption from the other vaccines that also use stem cell lines. If not, their argument doesnt hold water. This is a quote from a USAFA graduate who is trying to help these Cadets.

Air Force cadets may not graduate after refusing COVID vaccine
Four Air Force Academy cadets may not graduate after they refused to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.www.foxnews.com
I still think it’s a load of crap this so called vaccine is mandated. True vaccines kept you from getting a disease, this is not that.
The question is not whether they are forced to take these medications it is have they (like pretty much all of us) regular taken medication their whole lives whose development included stem cell testing and for that matter, when they rolled up their arms to get the many jabs already required by the military did they ever stop to question the testing histories of those vaccines?I'm not sure if they use those medications or not, but I'm pretty sure the U.S. Government doesn't force them to take those medications.

I think the vaccines did a fine job with the original version of Covid. However since then, we have had several variants while the vaccine has stayed the same. Having said that most people who were vaccinated but contracted the disease had a much lower hospitalization rate than those who didn't. Let be honest, the original Covid which was harsher than the current version, was for the most part either a disease that gave you anywhere from no symptoms to a mild cold to the strong flu. The problem was that it killed a percentage of the population. Without the deaths, Covid would be just be another flu season. The vaccine, however it works in preventing the disease, itself has done a nice job of preventing deaths.Anyone who thinks this is either misinformed or hasn't been paying attention. That was the initial hope but was never promised by the manufacturers or any reputable source.
I'm astounded by the number of people who think that a vaccine that is almost 100% effective at preventing serious disease (the main goal) is anything less than a miracle.
