Has anyone gotten accepted to Summer Seminar yet?

You wont get word back until like march-april, i got mine mid march, theyre more focused on admission right now id assume.

I had multiple students selected last year in the 2nd half of February. I assume the same will be true this year too. We'll see! :)

Yeah, last year I heard back around late February and I applied literally the day it opened. No one really hears back until late February and plenty of people who get rejected from nass still get in to USNA, so I wouldn’t worry too much.

I was accepted 2 years ago around late April! However there were plenty who didn’t get accepted to NASS and were appointed, I was one who was accepted to NASS and rejected for the CO 27.

Thank you for the reply, this really helps ease the mind!

hey, so i submitted my aplication for NASS on the first day (Jan 4), but still haven't gotten a response. On the other hand, I've received my acceptance for Westpoint SLE, and they want me to confirm by March 15th. My service academy of choice is Navy, so I'd rather go to NASS than SLE. Has anyone else this year heard back from NASS yet?

Based upon what I've read during the past couple of cycles many rising seniors, if they can afford it, attend both SLE and NASS. If I were in your shoes I'd confirm SLE on the 14th. just to have a spot there. If you also get into NASS call admissions to change the dates if they conflict. Good luck.

well then, is there a chance its different for this year, or should I assume I didn't get accepted if I haven't received a notification by now?
No, you should be in the running until you hear that you didn’t get accepted.

We just went to a briefing in Austin where there was someone from admissions. Apparently notifications should start coming out shortly. It sounded like there was some sort of IT glitch that was slowing down the process.

@gk30 definitely don't assume anything. Have not seen a single NASS offer for this year on the forums yet. Past years patterns had them starting the last week of February...but they continued to trickle out until April 15. It's definitely WAY TOO EARLY to assume a negative. Hang in there and good luck!

They have waves of admissions, iirc last year people were getting in in march and april. I got in feb 24th, so im not too sure.

I applied the first day and I received my decision beginning-mid march I believe! (This was 2 ish years ago)
