Oh, also, where do you all live? We live in Pittsfield, MA. UMASS was one of my sons options. Very good school. Lots of his friends are enrolled there and my niece recently graduated from there.
The heart ache of the letter is tough. My son had recieved decline letters from all of the acadmies including USCGA. As we were moving forward with Plan F. He recieved a letter that he was accepted into the USCGA Scholar program. He went to Marion Military Institute for a year (ending May 8th) and was accepted into the USCGA Class of 2016. Is that something your son would be interested in? My son recieved that letter in May. Whatever you all decide, I wish you the best.
