Thank you so much and congratulations and good luck to your son as well! That is definitely an accomplishment, especially receiving a nomination to USAFA as a Colorado resident.

I received one nom from Congressman Neguse and two from Senator Gardner (apparently this means he nominated me to two open spots at USMA cause he must have had someone drop out last year), but I have not heard anything from Senator Bennet either? Good to know that it is not just me!!

Also, were you and your son at Congressman Neguse's nomination ceremony in Broomfield near Denver on Friday? If so, I'm sure that we may have crossed paths! (Sorry for the multiple posts...it wouldn't let me send a comment with more than 420 characters).

I haven't seen anyone post about receiving USNA or USAFA nominations from Senator Gardner yet. Hoping he hasn't made calls for those 2 SA's yet and that my son still has a shot at gaining another nom for USAFA. The only posts on here were for Gardner noms to USMA and USMMA so far. Fingers crossed!

My son put USAFA 1st on Neguse and Gardner and USMA 1st on Bennet. He knew he'd never have a shot at USAFA if he listed it anything but 1st. He would be happy at either SA. Yes, we were at the nom ceremony on Friday night. Very nice recognition of amazing young adults who want to serve!
