No I am from the northern area of the state, not to far from Memphis in Tate county. Have been a MSU fan for most of my life though. Do you happen to be in congressman Trent Kelly’s district?

No problem, don’t mind at all. She attends Lewisburg.

I gotcha. I’m at Staryhorn down here. A lot smaller school than Lewisburg

Thank you! We are too lol! USAFA seems to be running more behind than other SAs this year due to their new system. So in the meantime we will just pray and hope for the best! But we are anxious of course. haha
If you don't mind me asking, because I have no idea and we can't figure it out, but did our district or Senators do principle noms? It is also ok if you don't want to say either way, I am just curious.

I am not completely sure, but I don’t think that they do. I haven’t found anything concrete though so I could be wrong.

No, but she applied for it. I don't think those are out yet. She was nominated on two slates for USAFA from our district.

Hey! I was JW, Do you have any idea about how many candidates in our district applied to USAFA? As you know, the waiting is agonizing DD took her name off the WP slate bc she would have declined and didn’t want to take someone’s slate spot. So we are down to waiting on USAFA

Honesty, I don’t know of anybody that applied from our district. I know a few guys I went to Boy’s State with were planning on applying, but most of them were from around Jackson or the coast. Also, as far as I know, a good majority of

WP offers have gone out in the state because right now about 10 people have been offered appointments, which is around the state average for WP. USAFA is running behind though I believe.

I saw one kid from south MS was offered an appointment to usafa but he posted he was declining. Anyway, thank you! Hopefully she will be high up on her slates in our district. Good luck at WP!!
