I understand that, but there are many Preppies that already have their MOC or Senator nominations, and still they receive their appointments in May.

@shiner @Capt MJ If the appointee comes from the Prep School, do you know if they need to fill out the SF-86 again?

If that was the case, they will wait for every single appointee to finish school to see if they still have a good GPA 😂😂😂 The Falcon Scholarship appointees receive their appointments in January/February, and they did not finish their Prep year yet.

No, the Academy selects who will get a Prep School offer. It can be at the last minute as well, end of May beginning of June.

Another item that I forgot to mention is the altitude training mask, my son started to use it kind of late, but if you start to train a couple of months before going to Colorado Springs you are going to be doing much much better.

I can only speak for the USAFA Prep School Class of 2023. From the 219 Preppies that started, around 100 are recruited athletes, 25/30 prior enlisted, and the rest come directly from high school.
