Absolutely not. There is no advantage or disadvantage to applying in any of the groups (EA 1, EA 2 or Regular Action). The most important thing is to make sure your application is the best that it can be. If that means waiting, then wait.

SAT and ACT You mentioned only the ACT. I would definitely recommend taking the SAT in addition to the ACT. The two tests have different approaches and often times a student who doesn't do well on one may do well on the other. Have you looked at prep courses? Some can get very expensive but...

Semper Gumby! For the past three years the Mystic ceremony has been held on the fourth Saturday after R-Day which would make it July 27th this year. Now, having said that, DO NOT MAKE ANY PLANS because.... .....there are so many rumors floating around about changes to R-Day and Eagle...

As has been said, she will not be allowed to stay in Chase Hall. She will need a hotel room and transportation to the academy on R-Day. If I recall, it may be possible to stay with a sponsor family the night before R-Day but Objee or Luigi are better suited to answer that.

Swab Eagle Going by past practice, proudmom is correct. Most of the Eagle's schedule is for 3/C but the last three weeks are the Swab phases. Swabs get one week on Eagle....which of the three weeks they get is determined by which company they are in. I'm curious, though, to hear STN '13...

Signature If you click the "User CP" tab at the top of the page it will bring you to the page where you can change things in your profile. If you look at the column on the left, you will see a link under "Settings and Options" that says "Edit Signature". That should be what you are looking...
