Sounds like a good email. We also received the letter/package for ssop program at suny Maritime DS very interested. Hope to find out more at accepted students day. Still on "hold" at usmma.

The mail just came and my DS received the letter from SUNY Maritime (dated 4/1) confirming that he has received a CAP scholarship. :smile:

My DS also heard informally he received the cap scholarship from state senator. Suny maritime informed DS that he should hear "soon". There was only one overnight scheduled at end of march which my DS could not attend. They are only offering day visits . DS will go to student acceptance...

My DS will be at the SUNY maritime accepted students day on the 14th. We too are waiting on KP

We also spoke with admissions and they said that we will find out in during first week of april concerning CAP scholarship

April 1 is Monday. Is this a key date? My DS is still on "HOLD" and is checking portal every day. We have not seen much activity this past week in terms of appointments. How long can the "Hold" status remain? Is there a drop dead date?
