BigNick, does USMA have to see your 7th semester transcripts before deciding choosing to accept you or not? Also, it seems on the portal that the first admissible mail has been sent, could that be for NWL people?

I've been graciously selected to the NWL. However, I don't know my ranking. By the time the Feb. 22nd deadline comes, will I be able to know 100% what my ranking is if I file an inquiry to my regional commander?

They did mail it to me... guess I expected others to have the same treatment?

You're in the NWL because the top nom. selected to go to USMA. Essentially, you're not the top pick, so you're waiting like the rest of us!

When did you finish your application? After the LOA deadline?

buff81, what happens in the case that a candidate who did not receive an LOA actually has a more competitive portfolio for USMA? Would they then take the spots reserved for the LOAs?

I don't understand how the NWL truly works. Is it for candidates who have been rejected and are waiting to fill in spots, or are they any sort of nominated candidate that did not receive the principle nomination from their respective counties?
