I was thinking superintendent nom but those are mainly reserved for people who got a letter of assurance and not a nom. Even then, this year has been the most competitive so you would think there would only be one or two of those
I know for a fact that they were not on the waiting list and that they recieved a nomination of no kind. There was no vp nom, presidential nom, or congressional nom. That's why I'm so confused
One of my friends just told me that they recieved an appointment to the Naval Academy in the mail today. I was under the assumption that all decisions had already been sent out. Also my friend never recieved a nomination. How is this possible?
What i read was that 1021 acceptances have gone out. Less than 400 have accepted appointment however.

I have been told by several people that by not hearing anything from the Naval Academy, that i have a better chance of hearing good news. Is this true?
I see you as having more of a chance of getting an invitaion to NAPS due to your math score. USNA really wants a high math score and a 26 just isn't quite there.
