Okay, thank you for that information. Now comes the waiver process. My, this has been one LONG year with AROTC.

What if I was to get Lasik to correct this? Would that change anything?

I just recieved a letter stating I did not meet the statndards for DOD because of myopia that is greater than -8.00. I have contacts and glasses that correct this, so why is this a problem?

I am also waiting to hear. I was told that I should have heard by now though so I am getting a little nervous.

I've learned that the different branches operate very differently. I have sent out an e-mail to my poc and haven't recieved anything in several days. I have also contacted school #2 and they have not responded either. On Monday I will try contacting CC again. I'm hoping for the best!
