I completed my Calculus, but it is not A+. How about the essay? How much would that play in?

I don’t mean to be a critique, but would it not make sense to nominate midshipmen with a 3.5 gpa or at least a 3.0 to choose from? I think I’m giving myself false hope by putting in my application in like this and hoping to get it. I’m just really curious.

This is all great advice. I just got to be motivated, I’m still getting over from first year. I just don’t know I screwed up with grades like that. Would the board consider my grades competitive? Or is this something that depends and would have to wait?
