VMI also has several dates left that your son can come spend the night with a rat. The one I attended as a senior in high school is what really sealed the deal for me. I fell in love with the campus and knew it was the only place for me.

Having the coach know who you are definitely puts you ahead of the other rats that try out and since your son has a whole year of high school left the coach can give him goals to strive for. At least that was my experience.
