I'm on the island as well, waiting on USAFA and USNA still. USCGA is a solid plan B, though! I still even consider it Plan A. The goal for me is an Academy, so I'm already fortunate enough. But man, USNA and USAFA would be good. :)

I don't know how well C's do for the other service academies (though I am applying to USNA) I have had two or three C's throughout my high school career, but still got an appointment to USCGA. I am certain other things in his application will definitely outweigh at least one slip. :)

I just recently completed my CFA, so I know I am a little late to the game. The only thing left in the application now is the interview with my Blue and Gold Officer, which I hope to complete in the coming weeks. Is there any chance I could still hear from USNA soon?
