My son received the Commander's Type 1 scholarship, he is now in his 2nd year of school. He went in for his interview and it just so happened that the Commander was the one doing his interview and therefore offered it to him on the spot.

My son is on a Type 1 scholarship and his scores: Pilot: 87 Nav: 84 ABM: 96 Academic Aptitude: 97 I'm not sure of the Verbal or Quantitative, lol. He is majoring in Chemistry. He isn't quite sure what he wants to do, but since taking this test he is considering ABM.

Hi, my son got a Type 1 CS. He had a 4.63 weighted GPA, 1960 SAT score and was in Band, Swimming and participated in the Improve Club. He also did quite a lot volunteering in the community.

Has anyone had any luck getting the financial office to allow payment from two sources if they are both paying tuition & fees only? If you have two scholarships and they both say they only cover tuition & fees, do you HAVE to turn one down or can you just get a credit on your account and then...

We are using the GI Bill to cover room and board which is $10K/yr and is not covered at all by the ROTC scholarship.

My son's school contacted the AFROTC about having the scholarship presented. I don't know what the outcome was though.

I also informed the school and they contacted the AFROTC, but I don't know what the outcome was. We have not been contacted by the AFROTC directly though.
