My Cadet's deadline was Nov 1, and was notified in December.

A busy freshman year, all cadets take placement test and they are placed at the appropriate level of Math. Chemistry, Physics, English, History Foreign Language. They have study groups and extra instruction.

We bought that book at the USAFA visitor center and it was a great reference not only for my daughter but for us to understand the whole process and what to expect when she got her appointment.

Under zip code use the Colorado zip code provided, this will trigger the selection of the USAFA as the provider. My DD use our home address.

Hello, my DD got an email to check her portal when she got the letter of appointment so I would say wait for the email from the USAFA admission and enjoy your senior year:-)

Thank you for your time. Few questions: I believe there are two cadets in a dorm room, do you know how room mates are assigned? What did you do for bank account, do you have to open one there? Can you use a debit card in the cadet store instead of cash? All the best at USAFA.

From what I read, there are two taxi cos who have already been approved access to USAFA... Yellow Cab (719) 777-7777 and Springs Cab (719) 444-8686, check their websites for fare estimator.

KS98 - I also suggest to download the US Air Force Academy app, it has a Checklist for candidates. For community service, my DD (class of 2020) has couple of volunteer activities she's involved with since Sophomore year. It is important that you are able to talk about your community service...
