For USAFA SS, I used contacts last year most of the time, but for the "Doolie for a Day" (it was really just "doolie for a morning" because it ended after lunch...) I wore my glasses in the morning then changed to contacts in the small break in between breakfast after the morning work out...

Gotaplay2, No I don't mean the atheletes, didn't even consider them when I said that I knew at least two people. I am the only one that I know of from my district, but I know of a few that are outside those four categories you mentioned.

I think it is possible for someone to get a double nomination, as long as one of the nominations isn't a principal nomination. I know at least two who didn't get principal nomination, prep school or a LOA. Don't let it discourage you though, keep faith!

Thanks for the advice. I did call my admissions councelor and she said what Hornetguy had stated that it would raise a red flag in my admissions and that they would need to re-review. She also said that they may required some writing or talk to me about why that had happened, but wasn't sure...

Thank you. I have decreased my working hours to 20-25hrs/week and only work 8 hours a day when there are is no school. (I got a wonderful pay increase in one of my jobs and it evens out.) We do already live with necessities only, no cable and pre-paid cellphones for emergencies only. I...
