Although not receiving an appointment on the first attempt left our DS extremely disappointed, he also felt that attending NWP as a Falcon Scholar was the best decision both he AND the USAFA admissions made! It made all the difference in his overall...

    Great news and congratulations to your DS! Now take the advise from Christcorp and "wrap" up that boy in bubble wrap and keep him safe until June 28th! We are still patiently awaiting news (and driving the mailman crazy) out here on the west coast! :thumb:

    Hmmm...I thought he said he wasn't a recruited athlete? Oh well, I will still be keeping my fingers crossed that the Academy will make notifications earlier than originally advertised? I know our DS (and his dad) are driving the mailman crazy:eek:

    Good morning all, Our DS found out yesterday that he received one of Sen. Boxer's nominations. His USAFA application status page had already been reflected to show the nomination. DS has not received an official notification (phone call or letter) from anyone in the Senators office as of yet...
