    If your school does not rank then it does not rank. Many schools do not rank their students. My son was accepted to NASS and USNA from a school that does not rank. We did not try to estimate his class rank.

    Nomination is from Congressional Rep Debbie Wasserman Shultz. He had been DODMERB qualified but he will need a medical waiver for a recent encephalitis infection. We are hopeful that he gets that from USNA.

    I think our sons must have been at AFA together. Is your son used to the altitude at AFA? My son is a linebacker so he runs quite a bit. Hi run time was lower at AFA than USNA. We are from Fl and I am sure the altitude affected him.

    I agree but NASS would not be the appropriate time for that (IMO). It is a time for students to experience USNA on their own. Part of the experience should be getting there. I think that many parents shelter thier kids to the point that they do not know how to do thing that 17 year olds...
