My DS will be back on the 3rd, and I'm assuming he will be back in Bancroft (but then I'm no really sure! lol). One year however, he was back from some break (can't remember which one) a day or two early and had to wait for about 2 hours for someone in command to unlock his door! lol

I recall meeting someone on I-Day in 2012 (class of 2016), whose DS got his appointment on June 26! I-Day was June 28, so they had one day to prepare and make arrangements!!!

When my DS received his LOA, under the "You must complete the following..." section, only Nomination and Medical Qualification were checked, the BGO Interview was not. And although he had his interview in July, the BGO interview never did show as completed on his application... I'm thinking...

Yes, he should be in back! My DS is in 16th, so he was front right...we did however, swear we saw him numerous times on the left! haha Being in front, we did get a great picture of his actual swearing in though thanks to USNA! :)

Last year it was 1-15 on the left, and 16-30 on the right...looking from the bleachers in the back! :) Of course by the time they march in, they all look alike..."there he is" "no, there he is" "wait, is that him?"..... lol

Similar with my DS. He was only interested in AFA, and was not going to go to NASS until we told him "You got in...you're going"! That was two years ago...he is currently an NASS detailer! :)

My DS is a current Plebe, and he's been assigned NASS and sub cruise...

As far as lugging your sports equipment around on I-day, the team all met with the coaches the day before I-day and they took everybody's gym bags...one less thing for my DS to carry around! :)
