Hey guys I was just wondering if you could give me some ways on how to improve my application. I am going to be a junior this coming year and want the best application I can get.
Here are my stats so far:
GPA
3.6 unweighted
4.5 weighted
Take all AP and honors classes
SAT
640 math...
My schedule for next year is as follows:
Ap chem
Ap us
Ap language
Pre-calc
French 3
Baseball class
I need help choosing my last elective should I take a class like ceramics or another PE? Or take ap psych?
I was just wondering if a 3.5-3.6 gpa and around 1400 SAT will be good enough to be pretty competitive for an appointment? The gap would be with all honors and ap classes.
Also what is a good ACT to strive for? And which test does the academy seem to like more?
I was just wondering if any one could give me a few ideas on how to show I'm a leader?
If it helps I am a tenth grader who has 2 years of varsity baseball, has good grades, decent SAT and ACT scores and take all honors and ap classes.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of each academy? Such as Which one has the hardest academic program, which one is the most physical and which is the hardest to receive an appointment from.
Thanks!
I have been researching lately the differences in the academies. I was wondering if you guys could provide any input on any of the 5? I think the one I am liking the most is the naval academy. Also what are some pros and cons of the three of them? Such as: better engineering programs...
I am just wondering if you have a bad freshman year can you come back from it and stilll recieve an appointment?
I have wanted to got to USNA since 6th grade. I slacked off big time last year and really regret it.(I thought i could fly through highschool w/o having to do much). Bad idea. I...
I was just wondering if it is a good idea to contact your representative before you’re eligible for a nomination? or should you hold off? I was also wondering where you can find your BGO's contact information if you’re not an applicant?
