Thanks for all the comments and help guys. To address missing my interview, we had band competitions out of state on both interview dates. Phone interviews were offered, but they happened to be during performance times. It's all well and good for one person to make a decision and miss one event...

I'm going to be running track for my school this year, it actually starts up in a week. There's that, and past experiences with advanced teams in soccer and some tennis playing. Track would be my first time as a varsity athlete for my school however.

Also, not sure how much this matters, but my B&GO called me up a little while ago to tell me I was board qualified, since all that's missing is my CFA. Just by the by. Thanks!
