    NROTC offer off the waitlist

I was awarded a 4-year navy option scholarship to a school I didn't get in to. I requested to transefer my scholarship to a different school. This different school had a wait list for the unit. I recieved an email from NROTC saying there was a position off of the wait list at this school, and...

    NROTC offer off the waitlist

Just a quick question: I was offered a spot off the waitlist of an NROTC school....I accepted the offer within a day. Should I expect to recieve a conformation from NROTC (not the specific unit) that my scholarship has been switched, or will I not recieve a conformation? If I will recieve a...

    2016 USNA Mailbox Stalkers Club...

Jus guessing but slates are full and they don't want to lose certain candidates yet. So if someone turns down an appointment later they can still offer acceptance to the candidate. The class isn't full yet.

    What does it mean?

My RD said our slate still hasn't been reviewed. And called MOC office and they said USNA still hasn't reviewed our slate as well and the only people who've heard are the ones with LOAs or the ones not triple qualified.

Thoughts and best wishes from an applicant still waiting

If it was your state then it might mean your district hasn't been reviewed. If it was your district, the candidate may have had an LOA or may have been nominated by another source. Or that candidate may have been the #1 and was appointed, but USNA will go back an review the rest of the district...

Thoughts and best wishes from an applicant still waiting

Like many of you out there, I'm still waiting to hear from USNA as well, and I just wanted to share some of my thoughts and information with you. First, in my opinion a lot of people believe they know exactly how admissions works, but from what I've seen this year, nobody but the people in...

    Interesting statistics for nervous applicants

I could be wrong but I feel like this could mean a lot of things. If they count 20000 applicants from anyone who shows interest this 1,021 could be acceptance offers to naps nass and foundation program as well as appointments to 2016 since it doesn't exactly specify. After talking with my...

    Interesting statistics for nervous applicants

Slate review is when admissions chooses one or multiple candidates for each member of Congress's slate. So candidates nominated by moc's are competing for their slate

    Interesting statistics for nervous applicants

According to my regional director they are still in review. And I also called my MOC office yesterday, and he said he called admissions to see if he could get an update, and he said they haven't done our slate yet.
