I recieved an AOG scholarship this year and I will be prepping at Valley Forge. Should I try to finish my nomination applications before I report (Aug 14) or should I do them while I'm at Valley Forge?

Can anybody please tell me how long it takes for admissions to change the 6 to a 7 on the semesters received? My guidance counselor had them sent out on the 16th. I checked with my RC on the 22nd asking if he received them and he told me that when it changes to a 7 then they have been received...

Would any past or current Officers be willing to give details on the experiences of their branch, and what the overall satisfaction of the branch they chose was? Please include branch name, daily schedule, details, ect. Thank You!:thumb:

How are cadets placed into all of the different companies at West Point? Is it determined plebe year? And are you in the same company for all four years?

I am a high school senior who applied to West Point this year and am anxiously waiting for an appointment to come! This forum has been such a big help throughout the application proccess and I truly appreciate all of the great information I have read!
