DD followed prescribed transfer protocol learned from this forum, but request was declined; she was notified by email from CC yesterday. I'm hoping that means the rest of you will also get an answer prior to May 1st!

Sappel32, Can't answer laxmom directly, but here's our situation. DD wants to attend Choice #3, sent email 2 weeks ago to CC asking for 3-yr AD to be transferred from Choice #2 to Choice #3 (different brigades; both private elites), and was told that a response would be sent in 4-6 weeks...

to update: DD was notified early of RD admission... now to wait for fin aid offer for that 1st year!

DD has stats at top 75% of admittees. ACT 33, gpa 4.5, tons sports and ECs. We'll see......

The Pony Express made it out to CA this afternoon. 3-yr AD to elite private, which was DD's third or fourth choice. We are pleased!!

Yep -- that's likely what we will do as well, crossing our fingers for some merit aid and outside scholarships to weather the first-year storm. Did you try to get the 3 yr upgraded to a 4 yr?

Dunninia, I'm curious ... what did your DD do? Is she at the flagship or the private now? Mine may be in similar situation when we get the letter today/tomorrow/Monday...

Thanks, Jcleppe! Guess we're all just nervous... and the mail seems to take so long to get out here to CA! DD is hoping it'll be a 4 yr because we simply can't afford a year of Vandy tuition!

My DD's status changed last week also. It was to a private (awesome, 1st choice!), but the portal did not say "full" scholarship as jbrowerdallas indicates his DS's did. Does that likely mean it's a 3 yr AD?
