    so how can ROTC which produces the same result as west point give a waiver and usma not? How can I deploy on active duty ( currently vision green on medical readiness) and use an m4 to protect myself and others, drive military vehicles, but not be eligible for a waiver?

    the arotc scholarship came after I made up my mind. I also wasn't sold on AROTC wasn't really what I wanted. I am more willing to take my chances in the army then be miserable at college for a year.

    Thats my local newspaper. I was excited to read that the enlisted numbers are up, hoping it works in my favor next year. NY-19 district probably has the highest number of people interested in the academy because west point is in the district.

    Sometimes colleges require athletes to commit early. My friend pole vaults and had scholarship offers from multiple schools her top two were harvard and columbia they required her to make a decision by the end of this week. For the stats she chose harvard!

    It probably depends are on how bad it is. I have a lazy eye so my doesn't correct to anything better than 20/100 and I got no waivers.
