Whether it is one way or the other, will it matter so much if someone puts: 29 Company P Platoon when in fact the address is: P Company 29 Platoon? Will someone get their mail either way?

As a former re-applicant, I can say that my biggest mistake was waiting so long to get in shape for the CFA. I took it twice for this past application cycle because the first time I wasn't ready.

I have not gotten any letters. I was notified today from a friend up at USNA that I am in 29th Company. How does that work for plebe summer? How do they divide it up when it comes to the letters?

From my experience at NASS in 2011, it was good to have two pairs of sneakers, since one pair will be soaked after Sea Trials, and it's nice to have a dry pair to change in to at the end of the day.

I sent mine to the Admissions Office. Not sure if that was correct though.... It might be a good idea to bring a copy with you on I-Day

I can't answer your question about the company traditions, but I have read around these forums that most people received a letter about a week to a week and a half before I-Day tell them their company assignments. Some people didn't find out until I-Day.

Which class will be the detailers for the upcomming plebe summer? I always thought it was the class that had just finished their sophomore academic year, but now I have other people telling me that they are the midshipmen who have just finished their junior academic year. Which is it?

I received a medical waiver in January but never received any kind of conditional offer. I did get the call from my Congressman in mid-February about my appointment though. So, who knows? Perhaps it would be more helpful to find instances of people who were waived but DIDN'T get in. For those...
