    If I applied for a scholarship the year previous and I was rejected, does applying a second time increase my chances? Anyone know if there are actual statistics/percentages?

    Commissioning Into the USMC

    Now I was reading that the USNA is the only way to get a commission through the USMC branch without having to do OCS. Is this true? Does the USMMA have an opportunity to do the same?

    I couldn't imagine the USMA or any older service academy being selective since the very beginning. Do any of you know exactly when it got tough?

    Texas A&M Commissioning?

    I was looking at a video of the Texas A&M ROTC class of 2009 being commissioned. I noticed that there were only maybe 60 people commissioning. to my understanding there are several thousand cadets in the ROTC program at TAMU. Can anyone tell me what was going on?

    I hate to be "that guy," but out of curiosity is there a easier SMC to attend? Or are all of the requirements the same? Thanks in advance.

    USAFA Alumni Question

    I would like to attend the Naval Academy. Now, my father graduated out of the USAFA in 1985. My question is, will this help me? Or does it only help me at the USAFA. I don't mind going to USAFA, I just prefer the USNA.
