For me, the CFA was the first time my height & weight were officially recorded. Actually, they may have asked for height & weight on the preliminary application/NASS application.

USCGA2017hopeful, The 3 Q's are, academically, medically, and physically, right? If a candidate is overweight I believe they are physically DQ'd but are ok medically. Are you given time to get in shape??? Now that's a good question, but at least you won't have to deal with DODMERB on that issue.

Weight isn't a medical issue, it's administrative. You do get weighed during the DODMERB, but no matter what the weight is, I don't think you will be DQed medically.

Can anyone recommend hotels for I Day & PPW? Possibly include prices & proximity to the USNA. We are from the Mdwest and have never been to the East coast. Any additional info would be greatly appreciated!

My concern is that on I Day my BP will be above 140/90. Will they make me go back home? Do they check BP on I day? The above quote (in one form or another) has appeared in several strings lately and in different posts. Can you shed any light on this subject?

I don't think that you are allowed to have braces on while at USNA. NROTC is ok, but not USNA.

I even had a football injury to disclose and take medication for acne, but no follow-up or additional information was needed. I did have to list the Dr.'s name for the above, but I doubt they contacted them. If so, I was out of the loop.

They don't require any records on the day of the DODMERB physical. The only paperwork required is what you print off of your computer after you fill out all of those yes, no questions. If something comes up during the physical, then they may request something. My advice would be to bring...
