You should try crew. Typically the crew guys are over 6 feet tall, but with your stats, I think you'd do well. Going out on the water is really fun, but be advised, the ERG machine gets old. Good Luck!

This website provides some good information, but is a bit outdated. The main things to bring are: cell phone & charger, your favorite running shoes and a spare set of running shoes (they will issue you shoes, but hopefully you have a favorite pair that are broken in) and your I Day paperwork...

Actually, I think USNA requests them directly from your school. Last year our DS never sent them in, but somehow they were acquired by the USNA.

Were you looking at an old PTR packet? I don't think they require any of the dental stuff anymore. However.......there is a thorough dental examination about a week into Plebe Summer. If you told DODMERB about your situation, there shouldn't be an issue

90% of the time, it's because of a new (or unhealed) injury or recent illness (ie pneumonia) I've heard (but don't know 100% for sure) that you can be sent home for being too far out of the height/weight ratio.....but again, don't know how many lb. they will give over the limit. Also...

I believe so, at least to a point. They want to make sure that everyone can fully participate in Plebe Summer. As I'm sure you know, it's very physically demanding. They will also review the wavers in general, to make sure all the paperwork is in order.
