    Banking Options in ROTC

I've been with USAA since I was a cadet. I love their customer service. Lately I'm finding their auto insurance isn't as competitive compared to other agencies. Am I the only one who's experienced this phenomenon?

    Injection to treat PTSD

Equine therapy is a valid treatment modality. I’ve seen good results from those posts that are fortunate to have a functioning program. Edit: for some reason I’m not getting alerts when people respond to my posts. I’m not MIA, I just don’t know people are sending me messages.

    Injection to treat PTSD

BFA is a good adjunct to psychotherapy, but psychotherapy has been shown to be the most effective treatment. Identifying triggers, confrontation of triggers, and desensitization of triggers (prolonged exposure, EMDR, CBT/CPT, etc) will probably remain the clinical practice guidelines of the...

Complicated waiver issue. Dont believe I should need a waiver. Doc appt is tuesday.

If you look at the psych standards for enlistment and commissioning, you’ll see language for “history of...” Also, was adjustment disorder your only psych diagnosis? No depression, anxiety, etc? I’m living the cuts right now. It’s not that they’re actively cutting medical personnel; once someone leaves the position, they’re not backfilling that person. It’s part of the DHA takeover.

AROTC Waiver for ADHD and Adjustment Disorder?

Depending on the medical credentials of your school counselor (yes some of them have a clinical license), their statement has weight. Medication isn’t recommended for an adjustment disorder, but it’s still a valid diagnosis. For you to be DQ’d for an adjustment disorder, you have to have...

Joining the Army with history of Anxiety

GAD is a “higher” form of anxiety. Because you were diagnosed at 8 and again at 14, it’s going to be hard to say they were wrong the first time...and the second time. You’re totally free to pursue enlistment/commissioning. Good luck with the process.

    “Space Force?”

For my physical I had two additional sleep studies completed to “triple check” that my sleep apnea surgery was successful from three years ago. Other than that, the astronaut physical is similar to a class three flight physical (air crew).
