West Point Online Physical Fitness tracker

Deffinitely. I like trying to keep my line above the group average. The past few days the group average and my lines keep going up and down. Hopefully with spring weather coming Ill be able to get out and run more often. I only got 14000 steps today because of an all-day community service project

    Physical-Readiness Program

Hey all, Just got a spiffy little pedometer in the mail today from DPE, with instructions on a voluntary program to measure how far I walk/run every day. I checked the portal, but there isn't any link there, like they said. Anyone else get this, and, if so, find the link the letter talks about?

    Company Athletics

I was curious about the different sports offered for company athletics. I wrestled for four years, and somewhat liked it. However, I really want to give football a shot. Would trying out for football be a bad idea for someone who never played it in high school and is only about 5'6'' and 140lbs?

    SLS

dont worry about it at all. I got flat out rejected for SLS a week after I submitted my app to it, and now Im an appointed member of the c/o 2013. My guess is that they reject candidates who they know have USMA as their top choice, and use SLS as a way to attract those on the fence.

The website goes into a lot more detail, but basically you need to get better than a 300 on the APFT, and go through an interview process and attend meetings and such

    The Stimulus Program

Pima: Again, this is the burning issue of choosing whether to focus on low-intensity conflicts like I&A, or focus on preparing for a large-scale conventional war. Theoretically, If I were put into the spot to determine where to relocate the funds from the F22 into, I'd probably focus on...

Wow, thanks for the great information. I deffinitely think I'll give ITC a shot. Many of my friends who are now cadets at Norwich University criticized West Point for only having military exercises and training during the summer; ITC looks like a great solution to this =] JAM: Yes, Ive read...

    1. Kim Jong Ill is..well...ill. His people are starving and the economy is in shambles. His successor would be even crazier than he to try and start a war. Relations have improved with NK, and the threat of a nuclear attack from them has greatly diminished since they were on the Axis of Evil...
