My MOC did not want the hardcopy from me. They wanted the official one mailed directly from the College Board.

I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for that 1st phone call. Enjoy every second of that phone call.

If you have an online account and you have associated your SAT test ID number with your account, you will have an option online to VIEW and SEND Scores. In the view option, you can download your scores as a PDF file to keep for your records, and/or send it to the Congressman but KEEP IN MIND...

    Nomination

I agree with PIMA. If you have an online account at College Board, you go online and navigate to the SAT Score section. There is an option for sending the official scores. Each College and Member of has a Code (you can locate this info on the College Board website as well), enter the USNA...

First Generation USNA Applicant - Please Help

my insights may be dated, so take it for what its worth. My son was a 1st generation applicant, but he made it through the process. I can share what we did. We had a similar situation with the English teacher but we sent the request to the 11th grade teacher. We sent each teacher a letter...

    Plebe Packing List

My Plebe took NOTHING but his PTR package on I-day. I mailed some care package items to help get through plebe summer. Gold Bond Powder, inserts for sneakers, bandaids and something called moleskin for blisters. I also sent some snacks and his favorite toiletries. I am ashamed to say that...

    I day Picnic

I dont recall actually receiving tickets last year. They have a sign-area by alphabet. Go to the section for the first letter of your last name. Get there early too. I went late and there were a lot of give aways that I completely missed. Be sure to go to the MIDSTORE and get the Class of...

    Permit to Report Immunization Questionnaire.

I took the form to my son's pediatrician and they made sure he had all of the required shots and they filled in the dates on certain things. Another parent recommended that we do the shots BEFORE I-day so that the Plebe has one less thing to adjust to during the strenuous physical activities.

    USNA Course Validation

I agree with the previous responders...validations are possible but the course work associated with the more advanced class is challenging.

    Logistics for I-Day (For Parents)?

Listen to Bandad!!!! He and his wife are awesome. I connected with them last year through this forum and they made I-day a sinch for us. The information about Alumni Hall and where to stand during the Oath of Office was priceless. Thanks to them I got great photos.

    Navy Federal Direct deposit

The PTR checklist with due dates should have the answer. If i recall correctly, my DS took his NFCU card with him on I-Day. Another mom suggested that I be on the account with him so that when he is travelling, it makes it easier if I have to access his account.

Second Time on the Roller Coaster

As a mom who prides herself in being strong, I knew that the door thing would get to me so I found ways to distract myself. I focused on photographing and videoing the experience -- there will be so many people that if you focus on trying to get shots of your kid, the bigger scene sort of fades...

    Logistics for I-Day (For Parents)?

I agree with the suggestions to check out the yard before I-day to help with navigating events on I-day. We dropped our Mid Off at the Stadium at 5:37 a.m to board the shuttle bus because he had an early report time. He wanted to do this on his own, so we went back to the hotel and napped...
