Great advice thanks! I applied for regular Navy option NROTC at Cornell... Only problem, it's for a Tier III major.

Congrats to all! Should I have heard from the selection board yet? Is there a date by which I should hear from NROTC at the latest? Also, would it make any difference if I notified my coordinator that I was accepted and deposited at my first choice?

I have exactly the same problem but I never took the FALANT test after failing the PIP... Did you request to take a different test?

There is no way that is the case, I know for a fact they look at the transcript as well which is more than just a ranking.
