    AFROTC to AROTC

    Is the Army going to waive your DQ, though? Talk to the AROTC guys first, they can check to see if you could qualify for a waiver before you enter the program. I'm going through the same thing. I got DQ'd for my eyes by AFROTC but I went and checked it out with AROTC and they're waiving me.

    Underage Drinking

    I have a friend who wants to sign up for AFROTC next semester, however, he got into some trouble with the cops for underage drinking in the summer. Would that disqualify him from getting commissioned?

    Hi!

    I think that unless your job requires you to have good vision, like a pilot, then your vision shouldn't count against you. A person's ability to lead shouldn't be about their sight.

    Going in for my 2nd Appeal

    I'm appealing for my AFROTC waiver. I was denied one because of a refractive error. Has anyone else been a denied a waiver because of the same problem and got a waiver?
