Does having more than one nomination influence the decision making for acceptance in any way? I mean, I realize it’s kind of like having more than one ticket in a raffle, but does it influence the committee in terms of, “wow, this kid has multiple noms, we should give him extra consideration?” Thanks!

Do you HAVE to apply to 5 schools for the NROTC scholarship? DS is applying to 3 service academies, but his solid plan B is our state flagship to which he will easily be admitted. Our state flagship has an excellent engineering program and a solid NROTC unit, so DS would be very happy there...
