avertyc; Congratulations on appointment letter. My son received a congratulatory appt. letter from Isakson and a BFE arrived from USNA the day after; so be on the lookout(he did have an LOA dating back to Sept 4th). Needless to say he is very happy and grateful. Good luck to all!!

Nr116; yes they both knew about the LOA. Not sure why they both nominated him. DS will reach out to our congressman to bow out of his interview scheduled for this Sat.

My son received nominations for USNA from both Isakson and Chambliss by regular mail on Nov. 24th. He still has interview on Dec. 13 with his congressman. Hope that helps!!

Sorry once again; the LOA was Naval Academy. The only SA he is applied for!!

I just received a call from my son that he received a nomination from both Senators. He was notified by regular mail. On a second matter; since he has an LOA should we cancel his interview with our Congressman? Thanks and continued good luck to everyone!

Congratulations and all the best moving forward. Glad to see some Congressmen have finished their slate of nominees; my son's interview isn't until Dec. 13th. Hopefully he'll hear something form one of the Senators before then. Until then; best of luck to all!

Son's interviews with Ga. Senators were 15 minutes each. He said it was a casual two way conversation with the three person panel. Typical questions about why Navy and where you saw yourself ten years down the road. He's still waiting on nominations; hopefully by end of Nov. but could go...
