    AROTC Picking A School

I have visited both and also got to sit down with the ROO at one for awhile. The problem is that, not only did both visits gave off similar vibes, but both are far enough away from home that it would require a weekend to visit each, which financially speaking and from a time perspective is...

    AROTC Picking A School

Hello, I recently recieved a 3 year scholarship after this past board and am having trouble deciding which school to accept it at. I got offers from three schools: #1, 2, and 5 on my list, but I am struggling to pick between #1 and #2. They are both very similar in a lot of ways and I would be...

    Updating Transcripts For AROTC

The first marking period for my high school ended right before our Christmas break and my grades were sufficient enough to bump my GPA up to this point up. I was wondering how to go about showing that on my application. It would move me to a 3.0 and that very well be the difference between a...

Army ROTC Changing Listed Schools of Intent?

Same here. Tried everything. Also emailed and called multiple numbers to no avail. I emailed the ROO at one f the schools that moved up on my list, but he didn't really give much in the ways of how to fix the issue, he just said to not worry too much.

    Editing ROTC scholarship application

Odd. The rest of us all have been boarded as well and have not been able to alter the list. I've tried on mobile and a desktop to edit it in the application, I sent an email, I called multiple numbers and yet, nothing.

Army ROTC 1st Scholarship Board Results Published

Is there a way to know how many people apply in total for each round? Just trying to guesstimate my OML position and therefore my chances for getting selected.

    Editing ROTC scholarship application

I called Command the other day after school. The phone number for their scholarship line is answered by an automated message that says to email and then hangs up. So I hopefully they actually respond to my email before the next board.

    Editing ROTC scholarship application

I hope so. When I went into the application website I tried to click and drag to reorder the list, but it wouldn't let me. I also tried to click the X's to see if I could remove schools and add them back as a way to reorder them. That also did not work. So hopefully Command replies to my email...

    Editing ROTC scholarship application

I also want to change my School of Intent list as it has changed sinced being boarded. I sent an email through the application site by clicking on the "Contact Us" tab, but haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know what their turn-around time usually is? It's been almost two weeks now and nothing...

Army ROTC 1st Scholarship Board Results Published

For those of us who didn't get selected in the first round, we can still change our school list, right? I used the "Contact Us" tab on the application and asked Cadet Command to see if I would be able to update my list and I was just wondering how long it might take for that to go into effect...

    Armed Forces Classic Tonight

We may have a problem, you and I, because Pittsburgh sports are sub-par and lacking when compared to the greatness of Philly, especially when you compare Crybaby-Crosby to the Orange & Black.

Yes, sorry, I should have been more specific.

Traditional IRAs also have to be withdrawn before you turn 70, whereas Roth IRAs can continue to build.

    Salutations to You Fine People

Definitely. There are some great schools that fit my criteria, some have lower costs, some have bigger scholarships, and then there are ones like RPI that I could attend, but only if I worked like a draft horse in order to get scholarships and grants.

    Salutations to You Fine People

RPI is an outstanding school, with great engineering and hockey programs, but it's very expensive. The cost of freshmen year between books, roam & board, and tuition is about $65,000, even with financial aid and scholarships, that is a lot of money. RPI is the most expensive school on my list...
