    I'm an ROTC cadet with a 3 a Year AD scholarship. At what point in (or after) ROTC does a cadet technically enter the Army and is no longer a "civilian"? Is it when you contract or not until you commission? I'm asking because I get this question a lot and I never know the exact answer.
