100% sure that even though my son may want that, there is no chance that my wife would go along with that. I am sure it will be a very emotional, but supportive ride to West Point.

I would also suggest you begin looking for Academy Day held at local Colleges and Universities. My son and I attended an Academy Day in September of his Junior year where he met his Liaison Officer. It definitely gets you started on the right foot.

Thank you for the clarification. There are no stipulations in the scholarships other than my son must be currently employed at the time of application, which he is.

My son found out this week that he had received his appointment to USMA, but has not yet received his package. Without knowing whether or not there are any incidental costs, should we continue the process of applying for these funds? These scholarships range anywhere from $500 - $2,000. Can...
