I haven't heard anything yet from the USNA, when everyone else in my district that was nominated under my congressman has. At this point since it's almost April, is it looking like I have a chance?

How many points and how much does the USNA look at the personal statement (essay). I mean how much do they "rely" on it. I can't really think of the word.

How do you know your son is 3Q'd? For that to happen your application should have been through the admission board already? And it won't help or hurt; they simply don't care.
