DS- Navy option to MIZZOU!

DS just received email... He was selected for 4 yr Navy option ROTC scholarship - headed to MIZZOU!

DS is still waiting too... Applied for only the NROTC scholarship, been accepted to 4/5 of his schools. Waiting is so frustrating, isn't it?

We called, and were told the last board had just adjourned (that was last Wednesday), and notifications would be out mid to late this week. Many rejections letters have gone out already, so we are happy to still be "on the island!" (Yes, I heard that reference somewhere on this Forum!) Good luck...

Thanks, but we check that exact link all the time, and still "no decision has been made..." I guess we will keep watching and probably call the recruiter early next week.

OK, thanks for your input. I'm far more anxious than our son is about hearing the results. We have to make some hard choices asap and a lot rides on this. He is cool, confident, patient, and knows that what is supposed to happen, WILL happen. (Sounds like a military guy, huh?!)
