    Working out at CIET

Will cadets have time to go to the Fort Knox gym at all during CIET? I leave 1st regiment on Friday. Will I at least have time for some "prison workouts" in the barracks. I've already heard that there isn't much in the way of PT.

    Medically DQ'd from AFROTC

I have a friend who is a Brother Rat at VMI who has decided to go from non-comm to commissioning. (At VMI you are required to take 2 years of Army ROTC even if you are not commissioning). He was trying to switch from Army to Air Force and pick up a contract. He was informed earlier today that...

    Issue with changing major

I previously posted a thread about wanting to change my major from Civil Engineering to IS and Political Science at VMI. After contacting VMI on two separate occasions, which were months apart, I have been told twice that I will be unable to change to IS because of limited space, but that I may...

    STP course change?

I received my STP confirmation today, and have been assigned to Chemistry 1 and lab. I did not put this course in any of my 3 choices, so I assume this was assigned based on the fact that I currently have a civil engineering major. However, after taking two years of college engineering classes...

    Additional Medical info?

I logged into my Post View account for VMI to make sure they had received all of my required documents and saw that they had added my final transcripts to the list (which I expected) as well as a box for "Add'l medical information". What is this? I'm a little paranoid now that either the doctor...

    Changing major

I received a 4 year AROTC Scholarship to VMI for civil engineering, but am seriously considering switching my major to international studies and political science (what I've actually wanted to do all along). I wanted to do engineering for a while because of the money and the fact that it is a...

Hopefully the last "Who's still CPR" thread

I honestly can't bring myself to be super dissapointed about USNA, of course I would have accepted an appointment there if offered one, but I always felt VMI was the better fit for my personality. I love it there and I feel extremely blessed with the opportunities I have been given. The...

Complete Pending Review - 4 April

No doubt, I'm hoping we are still CPR because they want to give us NAPS!

Complete Pending Review - 4 April

Could it be that those who are still CPR and not waitlisted or denied are being considered for NAPS or Foundation? It just seems so late into the process that they would have told everyone they wanted to come by now, but I know that the NAPS appointments come later.

I do know that at least one slot for my congressman has been filled (not sure how many he has), but I'm still CPR, does this mean anything?
