How do scholarships work at USNA? I am guessing kids often enter the SAs with scholarships.... What happens to those monies?

Does anyone know how long it typically takes for nominations to post to the candidate portal? And then if a kid is the principal nominee (and is 3Q) how long until the appointment happens?

How are those sent? Uploaded or snail mail? Glad our semester ends in December this year! Maybe BFE will come sooner!

My sons application is complete. There is no info in his portal regarding a local contact (the equivalent of a B/G officer). Is he missing something, or does it come later? Should he contact admissions?
