After USNA graduation and 5 years of service if DD attends graduate school/medical school will the GI bill help cover tuition?

She does not know who she is staying with? Will she be notified before she arrives?

My DD will be attending CVW this week. She will be arriving several hours before reporting time and will need to eat dinner. Should she take a later shuttle and eat at the airport or could she use the extra time to walk around USNA and find somewhere to eat? She has received an appointment...

My DD did not have principal nomination. Had alternate nom from MOC-8 and competitive moms from both senators. Got call 3-4-16 from MOC with appt. Portal not updated yet. Waiting is so hard. Best of luck

DD got call from MOC tonight. MO Dist 8. So excited.

Did the BGO change this late in the process? What is the role of the BGO once the interview is done and application process is complete?

Just checked portal and the listed BGO has changed. Why would that change in middle of the process? Should my DD contact new BGO? The BGO interview was done last summer.

My DD sent her AC an email asking if she should send her mid-year grades. (Grades are her strong point). They replied no. Not sure what to think about that.....

Nothing. Does USNA always notify BGO and nominating sources of appointment prior to portal change?

Will USNA notify applicants if they are rejected when they review the file? If your portal changes will they send an email? My DD did not receive an email when the nominations were added.

I do not believe either Senator from Missouri does principal nominations. It is my understanding that they just submit 10 names for each slot available and let USNA make final determination for the slate. If anyone has any insight into that please reply...... I am definitely not an expert on...

It isn't hard to know if a candidate is triple qualified. If they know their grades, SAT scores, and did exceptional of the CFA as well as passed the medical review isn't it obvious
