I just received a Type 1 AFROTC scholarship today, however I have also received an appointment to USAFA and have accepted. Should I leave the scholarship on the table just in case something weird happens, as a back up? Thanks!

I just received a Letter of Assurance to the Air Force Academy for the class of 2020 this morning (best day ever). Assuming I receive a nomination, how long will I be waiting until I receive my offer of appointment? Also, has anyone else heard from USAFA? Thanks!
