how long does it take after you accept the appointment until you receive the instructions for candidates offered admission?

Has anybody received their appointment yet? My DS received his appointment last week so I thought I'd check to see if there are any others.

My DS, who received an LOA in September, just received his nomination letter from our senator, and just had his status on the portal changed to qualified. Now what? Will he have to wait until March/April to get the appointment or will that come before? Trying to be patient, but that's easier...
