Thank you. I was just referring to the actual Checklist that's in our Appointee kit and I figured if it was vital they would put it in there. But thank you.

It says in the appointee instructions that a final transcript of your high school graduation grades must be sent in to the academy...but there was an email sent to our guidance counselors that only asked if we failed any courses or were disciplined? I think I'm good since I haven't gotten any...

I'm curious to know why the "Checklist" doesn't list money to bring as an item in your wallet. And also, how much money should we bring?

If you don't have actual cash on you...you will pay for items and it will come out of your pay. It's called "magic money" and it will be deducted out of your regular pay like your computer and other items will be.

I have a pair of Nike SFB's in Sage Green. Would it be okay if I bring those, since it's highly recommended to bring your own boots and they fit all the requirements in the appointee instructions?

Does anyone have a link to a stat sheet that says the number of cadets going into each career field after graduation? I've been searching around and cannot find it anywhere. And in regards to the class year, it can be the most recent year possible.

My question is when is firearms training conducted during BCT? My guess is second Beast but I just wanted to confirm. Also, what firearms do the cadets learn how to shoot? Finally, after BCT ends, is there anyway to continue to practice shooting on a range or some type of team? Thanks!

My guess is to put a note on the package that says "Hold Until After A-Day" or find out exactly how long it will take to get to you, and send it a couple days before A-Day. It all depends on the shipper (UPS, USPS).

When you click on the button for "security clearance" it brings you to an informational page. On the page, there is a link to the SF 86, but it is only 1 page long. I know it is well over 100 pages. Can anyone lend me advice? Thank you!

I am bringing a pair of Nike SFB's. They fit all of the requirements listed in the appointee packet. Don't see a reason you would not be allowed to wear them.
