If I am not out of the running, and it is a QNS, does this mean if a kid cannot attend R-Day/I-Day I still have a (slim) chance of getting that appointment? Or are there no fill in appointments made?

My district is not very competitive, so I am wondering if none of us (There were only 15 people applying for a nomination to one of the 4 Academies) selected from this district.

There was no mention of deficiencies, I got a QNS from USMA, so I assumed that the other two academies I applied to were QNS. With it saying I could not be admitted to USAFA or Prep, I guess I'm out in the Falcon option.

Is Complete but not Selected the same as a QNS? Or does this mean I was not academically qualified and still have a chance at Falcon? My TWE said I was not able to be admitted to USAFA or Prep.

I got QNS to West Point and Navy, and received a TWE to USAFA. I will be attending UNCC for chemistry. I do not have an ROTC scholarship, so I will be "walking on" to their AROTC unit. And next year I will apply for a 3yr scholarship, and also reapply for USNA, USMA, and USAFA.

It would be great to talk to others, I'm pretty sure I may be the only one doing it at the school I am going to. Reapplying while in ROTC that is.

I received my TWE yesterday, and was not able to get a prep school consideration, it's off to Plan B for Chemistry for me where I joined ROTC hours before getting my TWE. Very excited to join ROTC, and the commander was very understanding when I explained I am reapplying to USAFA, USNA, and USMA...

I applied for the class of 2020, and now am applying for the class of 2021, so I am referring to the portal from last year, I got knocked out last Wednesday, so the information is all fresh in my head. As Cerberi said, the process is a long one, so patience will be key.

Not sure if they look at science, but on the portal they will display your all your test scores you submit, but they only display Math and English, so work on bringing that English up!

Just got my TWE to both the Academy and prep options. Sadly its the end of the line, but I'll email my admissions councilor about opening an app for next year today. Still waiting on USAFA.
