    physical standards you wouldn't want to go through all that time and effort just to be DQed for physical standards right? i suggest PTing and watching ur diet/routines.

    personally i wouldnt know yet, 19 more days till :) however i DID get accepted and all that jazz so i think i would have a good grasp on what would get u accepted. when you take your ACT and SAT study hard. i didnt take it seriously and got bad grades. luckily my EC's and JROTC bumped me up.

    i didnt play a school sport and i got in w army rotc scholarship. i DID have 4 years afjrotc though and other elected leadership positions. if your school has jrotc or you can get into civil air patrol try that.

    choosing Army or USMC

    i suggest joining a SMC (senior military college) that way u can try a branch out and witness all the other branches for four years, while still receiving military training and earning a commission in the branch you choose. you really cant go wrong with an SMC.

    for sure. you can transfer if they have an army rotc, you must be accepted to the school you wish to transfer to, just call cadet command and ask them to do it.im about to do the same thing.

    i would say definitely try for JROTC if you can get it, and go ahead and take the ACT. anywhere from 21+ should do it. try to do community service as well, and then consider The Citadel :) Best of Luck.

    though i would suggest at least 1 year of jrotc if available to you. that also opens you up for scholarship options and gets you ahead of the game on drilling and sir/ma'am tendencies.
